DRY BLOCK HEAT BATHS
UNITECH HBS-130 SLIMLINE DRY BLOCK HEAT BATH
For Heating
liquid samples and DNA contained in tubes, vials or microtitre plates
located in aluminium Blocks - and maintaining them at temperatures to
within 0.1 °C between ambient and + 130°C. The alternative model
HBS-130/033 also includes an External Temperature Sensor feature with
an 'In Sample' Probe for additional control. An 'In Block' Probe is
available as an optional extra.
Only 180mm wide, the HBS-130
Slimline is ideal where bench space is limited.
The HBS-130
Slimline is controlled by microprocessor technology inside a compact
and robust mild steel housing only 75mm high. It has an angled control
and display panel with touch key temperature selection for ease of
operation.
A large four digit liquid crystal display confirms the
temperature of the chamber which heats the Blocks. All function keys
and displays are completely sealed under a rugged waterproof membrane.
The Slimline Heat Bath takes two laboratory standard Tube Blocks or
one Microtitre format Block - interchangeable with all 'Unitek' Dry
Blocks (eg HB-130, CB-A20, CB-A20/60 etc). Blocks are deep etched and
clear anodised aluminium, and come complete with their own lifting
rods. Most Tube Blocks also have thermometer/temperature probe holes
and cover plates.
