    melting The apparatus takes up to 3 samples simultaneously, and can operate at tempertures up to 350C. The heating rate is controlled by an electronic temperature controller. The samples are viewed through a magnifier, the built-in lamp giving shadowless illumination. The case is inclined to facilitate viewing of the samples and thermometer, which are at the same level in the same field of view.
